OUR
NOBLE PURPOSE
GEA National College was
founded on the 12th of May,
2002 in Guwahati with the
noble purpose of enhancing the
professional facet of the
North-Eastern region by
providing the professional job
oriented courses to the
aspiring students or
individuals in Bachelor
degree, Post Graduate degree
and Diploma level to produce
more and more professional and
technical human resources in
this region. The College is
governed by GEA Educational
Trust, Guwahati.
The college has
got recognition as a
University Study Centre
to execute various courses
under Punjab Technical
University, (Jalandhar),
A Full-Fledged Govt.
University, Recognised By UGC,
AICTE, DEC, AIU, Ministry of
HRD, Govt. of India.

Punjab Technical University
recognized College for the
highest enrolment in the
year 2008 and 2009 in the
North-East.
At GEA National College, we

the cause of upgrading each
and every student and
convert him / her to a
professionally sound
individual, to give
dimensions to his / her
hidden talents and dreams,
to pursue the frontiers of
excellence and to provide
the opportunity for overall
development. The motto of
the College is “Acquire

FACILITY
The College provides Study
Material, Career Guide books
of all sorts to every
student. Besides, the
College is giving utmost
effort to improve the
quality of the students in
Communication and Soft
Skills which includes
speaking and writing in
English as well as in any
other language. For this
purpose the College has been
providing regular classes of
Communication and Soft
Skills to every batch since
the beginning of the year
2008. To make education more
attractive, the College
provides an Audio-visual
mode of teaching with the
help of DVD’s, LCD Projector
etc.
The
College is equipped with the
Computer LABs of the latest
technology. The LAB has the
latest Intel machines and
Internet facility. To get
faster access to Internet
and Intranet, the Computer
LAB is equipped with the
latest modem and faster
switch. The College
authority increases the
number of computers every
year so that the students
can get enough time to
practice apart from
attending the theory
classes. The college
regularly organises
Extempore Speeches, Group
Discussions, Debates,
Seminars and Workshop
Sessions in order to enhance
the general knowledge, self
confidence and communication
skills of the students.
